Step 6. Connect Oracle Forms to Database

Until follow Step 1 until Step 5, now we need to setting so that Oracle Forms can connect to database.

Copy tnsnames.ora from database, in this case, path to get tnsnames
C:\app\user\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\NETWORK\ADMIN

Paste tnsnames from database to C:\Oracle\Middleware\asinst_1\config

Paste tnsnames.ora from database to C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_FRHome1\network\admin

Then RESTART your Desktop for get Change Effect

Step 5. Install Forms and Reports

You cant install this Forms and Report without weblogic and Java installed before, just check Step 1 until Step 4

Download Oracle Forms and Report 11gR2 here
Choose link download Windows x86-64 (disk 1 of 2) and Windows x86-64 2 of 2, make sure download both file and don’t forget to Accept License Agreement

File name will be ofm_frmrpts_win_11.1.2.2.0_64_disk1_1of2.rar and ofm_frmrpts_win_11.1.2.2.0_64_disk1_2of2.rar, and extract both file to one folder, in my case, right click on file then choose Extract files..

In my case, my destination path is C:\Source\OracleInstaller\forms

Make sure extract the second file like first one

If Extract finish, that folder will be like this, there is Disk1 until Disk5 with 1 file readme.html, on path C:\Source\OracleInstaller\forms

Open Disk1 folder, then right click on setup.exe and choose Run as administrator

Oracle Forms and Reports Indtallation - Welcome

Choose Skip Software Updates, then click Next to continue

Choose Install and Configure, click Next to continue

Prerequisite Checks, click Next to continue

Installation Location, if you follow all step, just keep in default, then click Next to continue

Choose Configure for Development, then click Next to continue

Select Domain, set for Domain

Username : weblogic (default)

User Password : Web_logic

Confirm Password : Web_logic

Domain Name : ClassicDoman (default)

Domain Location : just keep in default

Click Next to continue

Uncheck I wish receive …., then click Next to continue

There is will pop up like this, just click Yes to continue

On Configure Environment, check all, then click Next to continue

Choose Auto Port Configuration, then click Next to continue

Choose Do Not Use Proxy Settings, then click Next to continue

Installation Summary, you can save summary with click Save Response File, then click Install to continue

Installation Progress, just wait the Progress

On Installation progress, there is will 3 pop up for Java Setting, just check Private Networks and click Allow access to continue

Configuration Progress, wait until Application Configuration 100%, then click Next to continue

Installation Complete, you can click Save to Save Installation Configuration, and click Finish to complete

Step 4. Install Weblogic 10.3.6

Make sure you already follow step until Step 3, if not, just go back and check again.

Choose Generic (997 MB) on list Installers with Oracle Weblogic Server and Oracle Coherence

After download Generic (weblogic) that downloaded file will like this

Install Weblogic 10.3.6

Open cmd, then go to path where weblogic jar file located. In this case my weblogic jar file on C:\Source\OracleInstaller then type java -jar wls1036_generic.jar to install jar file
